LostProphets - Rooftops. It always seems to get me in such a determined mood. It's awesome. :)
Anyways, onto my life. Well I'll have to admit, not much has happened tbh. For one, I figured I change alittle bit. I've joined the gym, because I really badly want to tone my arms, stomach and legs, and hopefully follow my mum's healthy eating plan. She's down to 9st now, so she's lost about 3lbs, which I think is really good. I don't want to lose weight, but all this crap I'm taking in is affecting my health mainly, sometimes my mood, I'm getting lots of spots [ahhhh] and it's going on places I don't want it to. [ie. thighes]. So that's getting sorted out.
Also, I'm spending more time with certain friends that I don't really talk to much, but really want to. Been going out for coffee with a couple of friends. I'll tell ya, sitting in a quiet cafe with a cappucino in your hand and having alittle chat with your close pals isn't half relaxing. I felt so good that day. I reccomend it. I've started wearing loads of make-up because I've been so self-conscious of my appearance for so long, therefore I need to try wear as little as possible. Speaking of appearance, I'm starting to [gradually] come to terms with my own appearance. I'm starting to like the way I look - which for me is a hell of an achievement. When I look at a picture of myself, I try to compliment myself instead of just insulting my looks all the time. I mean, I must admit, I'm not that bad looking. Oh, I like the shape of my head lol.
Onto school; I have a Maths GCSE next week...really not looking forward to that. I have alot of revising to do for that. My teacher is expecting me to get a C, so that when I have my last Maths GCSE at the end of year 11 I should get an A. haha...yeah right.
I'm 16 in September, and i've already decided I'm leaving home when I leave school. Not straight after, but pretty soon. For one, I want to get used to living on my own at an earlier age, then I'm all set when it comes to going to University and such. I've been chatting to mates about wanting to share flats and so forth. Hopefully I'll have a flat with a couple of friends, and be going to 6th form. I'm not one who knows how to do her laundry, cook, etc. but I've asked that my mum teach me quite abit this year, so that when I stride out into the big-bad-world, I'll know what I'm doing....in a sense.
Oh and the last thing; my mum is thinking of leaving my stepdad. I'm really messed up about this, because I don't know what to think. I love my stepdad like a dad, and I'd hate it so much him having to go, but then again I really want my mum to be happy. I can't expect her to stay with someone she no longer loves just for the happiness of her children - it wouldn't be fair. I'm worried about my brother Jason as it's his dad, and I know how low I felt when my mum left my dad. =/ It really hurt and I was a real little bitch for such a long time. In the long run, it leaves an effect on you, something it takes work to get rid of....
But yeah. How are you all? Hope everyone is good. :)
